Indications
Porcine. Treatment and metaphylaxis at the group level where clinical signs of porcine respiratory disease associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Pasteurella multocida sensitive to florfenicol are present. The presence of the disease must be established in the herd before metaphylaxis begins.
Dosage and route of administration
10 mg florfenicol per kg body weight per day in drinking water for 5 consecutive days. Administration in drinking water.
Withdrawal period
Porcine (meat): 20 days.
